This Privacy Policy describes how Gabriel collects, uses, retains, and shares your information. Please read it carefully to understand our practices regarding your data.

1. Information Collected
Gabriel collects Account Information (name, email, billing address, phone number), Device Information (device ID, device name), and Usage Data (app restriction configuration, device enrollment status, operational logs).
No Content Access: Gabriel does not access your text messages, emails, photos, files, browsing content, or communication content.
2. Data Collection from Children
Accounts are created only by parents (18+). No data is collected directly from children. Parental consent is required when a parent installs the app on a child’s device. No age verification is implemented; parents are responsible for lawful installation.
3. Hosting & Infrastructure
Services: Hosting is provided by Railway and Vercel. Analytics and crash reporting use PostHog. Payment processing uses Stripe.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained for 30 days after account deletion. Logs are also retained for 30 days. Data is not anonymized after deletion. Users can delete their accounts via app settings.
5. Data Security
Data is encrypted in transit using TLS. There is no encryption at rest. Access is role-based. In the event of a confirmed breach, users will be notified within 30 days.
6. Data Sharing
Data may be shared with Stripe, Railway, Vercel, PostHog, or law enforcement if legally required. Gabriel does not sell data.
7. California Privacy Rights
California residents may request access, deletion, and information about categories of collected data by contacting privacy@trustgabriel.com.
8. International Users
Data is processed in the United States.
9. Changes to Privacy Policy
This policy may be updated in the future. Updated versions will be posted with revised dates.
